A small video clip of social star Paris Hilton has gone viral especially in the crypto community. The small clip comes from “The Tonight Show” where Hilton is seen explaining Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) to host Jimmy Fallon.

Hilton was able to explain both the general and technical aspects of NFTs and why they are so popular. What many may not know is that Paris Hilton has been very involved in NFTs for a long time and most people were not even aware of it. Fallon also recognized NFTs from the $69 million sales of popular artist Beeple while talking about the digital art being auctioned off. Hilton advised him to coin some of his jokes as NFTs and put them up for auction.

The cryptocurrency community didn’t believe of Hilton’s understanding of the concept and the fact that she has been minting NFTs herself for a while. One Twitter user called Hilton’s intelligence underrated.
Hilton launched her NFT collection in April of this year in collaboration with designer Blake Kathryn. The NFT collection includes three NFTs that totaled $220,000. She has also previously revealed that she holds Bitcoin and is quite excited about the future.
Celebrity interest in trends is nothing new and many well-known stars have been associated with cryptocurrency projects since 2017. NFTs have become a craze these days and almost every brand and celebrity has invested or auctioned NFTs in some form. The market has seen a huge surge collecting over $3 billion in sales in the first two quarters.
